I’ve never been the biggest fan of Easter candy -other than orange and green jelly beans. But I’ve recently grown in appreciation for the underrated PEEP! You know, those yellow and pink duck or bunny marshmallow poofs that come covered in sugar. They are actually a simple treat that can be used in so many ways – not just for biting their heads off.
So I did a little research, and found out that they are made with 4 ingredients. They have been mass-produced since 1953 and now come in shapes for every holiday. But the best thing I found was a long standing tradition of using peeps in a diorama (a mini, 3-D model)!
Check out some of these pictures!
So I propose starting our own contest! Here’s the challenge. Use at least one peep (chick or bunny of whatever color) in a model (must be appropriate), snap a pic and send it to us at students@eaglebrookchurch.com. We’ll post a few of the best submissions and choose the winner in the next few weeks. Besides PEEP Pride, we’ll find a nice prize for the winner too!
So grabs some peeps and have some fun!
